Streaming, Flowing, Gushing

Water moves in many ways, sometimes streaming slowly, other times flowing

forcefully and at its most intense; gushing with strength and power. We can

embody these elements in our own movement practices. In this class we will flow

like water around the pole, exploring dimensions and textures in speed and power,

inspired by the flow of water. This is an intermediate low flow class.

This 2 hr workshop is $55 +tax, only 12 slots available, first come, first served

About Spice

Spice (she/they) is an aerial artist and instructor with over 20 years of dance experience. Deeply inspired by the ocean, her work explores how water and nature can flow through our movement practices. After 18 years of ballet they began pole dancing in 2021, receiving her pole teaching certificate in 2023 from Atomic Allure in Oakland. Spice has performed across California, getting her start dancing for Queer Fem in the Bay Area. Most notably she has performed for Luniz, Too $hort and at Polemasters Playhouse. Outside of performing, Spice finds their passion in teaching. She has taught in Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, and hosted international master class workshops in Guatemala. Spice wishes to spend her life sharing her love for movement and the ocean with others. They find their life calling in creating safe spaces for folks to heal, explore themselves and find liberation through the art form of pole dancing.
