River has years of experience draining wallets and breaking hearts on stage at the club as a stripper. This choreo workshop taps into their vault of slvtty spins and sassy floorwork for an unapologetically seductive sequence designed to put your audience under your spell! Choreography is geared toward advanced beginner/intermediate dancers comfortable on spin pole and modifications will be available to help students find variations that feel appropriately challenging - no inverting required! At the end of class students will break into two groups to dance the choreo for each other and have the option to film their dance. prerequisites: jasmine, wrist seat spin, basic and side climb bring: heels (boots recommended for extra grip), pole grip, an outfit that makes you feel slvtty

This 1.5 hour workshop is $45.00 + tax

Join the O-Pole community for an End of Summer Pole Party/BBQ at a private property by the lake! We’ll start at 3 and be hanging out until 7 or so.

Free event! Come hang out with your pole friends.

WHERE IS IT? Since it’s at a student’s private home on the lake, Address will be published on members app! If you’re an O-pole student, check the Social page on the App!

this is a weather dependent event since it will be right at the end of summer! Hoping for a sunny Saturday, but if the weather is gross that day keep an eye on the Push Press app + social media for updates on potential rain options. Bellingham Aerial and Dance is having a big community party that day too (indoors 5-7), so if it’s rainy that could be an option!

Streaming, Flowing, Gushing

Water moves in many ways, sometimes streaming slowly, other times flowing

forcefully and at its most intense; gushing with strength and power. We can

embody these elements in our own movement practices. In this class we will flow

like water around the pole, exploring dimensions and textures in speed and power,

inspired by the flow of water. This is an intermediate low flow class.

This 2 hr workshop is $55 +tax, only 12 slots available, first come, first served

About Spice

Spice (she/they) is an aerial artist and instructor with over 20 years of dance experience. Deeply inspired by the ocean, her work explores how water and nature can flow through our movement practices. After 18 years of ballet they began pole dancing in 2021, receiving her pole teaching certificate in 2023 from Atomic Allure in Oakland. Spice has performed across California, getting her start dancing for Queer Fem in the Bay Area. Most notably she has performed for Luniz, Too $hort and at Polemasters Playhouse. Outside of performing, Spice finds their passion in teaching. She has taught in Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, and hosted international master class workshops in Guatemala. Spice wishes to spend her life sharing her love for movement and the ocean with others. They find their life calling in creating safe spaces for folks to heal, explore themselves and find liberation through the art form of pole dancing.

PORTAL PLAYHOUSE: VIDEOSHOOT June 7th with @liquid.analog.experience, local psychedelic artist.

Pole Dancers, Belly Dancers, Floorwork dancers, burlesque, etc. all welcome! There will be a pole right in front of the art for use, but this shoot is open to anyone who wants to look hot while interacting with beautiful live art.

Dancers who reserve a spot will have 15 minutes of solo dance time and will receive an edited video. only 9 slots available!

Dancers are welcome to hang out before/after their slot and cheer on their friends/ wait for the group shoot. To warm up BEFORE YOUR TIME SLOT, you’ll have access to yoga mats, blocks, and a warm-up pole.

Outfit recommendation: Wear whatever makes you feel sexy & mysterious! lighter colors or shiny/sparkly outfits will show the most art on them and interact best with the light.

$10 at the door (just if you are using provided materials) to cover materials costs (glue, sealant, rhinestones, glitter, paints provided), but feel free to bring whatever crafting materials you have if you have a specific vision for your pleasers! Bring an old pair of pleasers to work on.

Come to craft, work on your costume for the show, or just hang out with your pole friends!
